.NET Developer

An opportunity for an experienced .NET Developer to join a leading financial institution in the Netherlands. You will work within a large software engineering department responsible for developing business-critical platforms, including customer portals, payment solutions and integrations with third-party applications.

This position is suitable for a senior developer with strong .NET/C# and Azure expertise who enjoys modernising complex enterprise applications. You will join an Agile Scrum team with end-to-end responsibility for its solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, configure and maintain software applications and platforms

Deliver reliable solutions that support business operations and customer services

Extend existing functionality and develop new capabilities

Redesign technical architectures and further integrate applications

Contribute to the modernisation and refactoring of legacy systems

Build clean, maintainable and event-driven software

Support the ongoing transition towards a mature DevOps way of working

Coach and support less experienced developers

Requirements:

University-level working and thinking ability

At least eight years of professional software development experience

In-depth knowledge of .NET and C#

Experience developing software in complex enterprise environments

Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud solutions

Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices

Knowledge of software architecture, including clean architecture and event-driven solutions

Proven ability to write maintainable, high-quality software

Strong communication skills and openness to giving and receiving feedback

Experience within banking or financial services
