We’re supporting a major offshore wind project in the Netherlands and are looking for an experienced Freelance Design Engineer to join the engineering team.
4-2 rotation
Key Responsibilities
Develop and review engineering designs for offshore wind infrastructure.
Produce calculations, technical drawings, and design documentation.
Ensure compliance with DNV, Eurocodes, and project requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
Provide technical support through design, fabrication, and installation phases.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or Offshore Engineering.
5+ years' engineering design experience within offshore wind, offshore energy, or marine projects.
Strong knowledge of offshore structures and relevant industry standards.
Experience with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, STAAD, SACS, ANSYS, or similar.
Fluent English communication skills.
Netherlands (Hybrid)
Initial 12-month contract with extension potential
