Focus Engineering is currently looking for a Control System Engineer for a plant-owner in The Netherlands.

This concerns a vacancy to become permanently employed at our client.

Our client is a plant-owner active in the production of ingredients and raw materials for the Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical industry. They are a big international company with more than 40.000 employees worldwide. They have multiple locations in The Netherlands and they are specifically looking for a Control System Engineer for their Rotterdam location. In this role you will be responsible for one of the production sites together with 3+ other Control System Engineers.

You will take care of the DCS systems by performing (preventive) maintenance activities, troubleshooting, configuring, modifications and / or upgrades. Besides your maintenance activities you are partly involved in working completely on projects from first design phase untill commissioning.

We are looking for Control System Engineers with DCS experience, preferably with Emerson DeltaV or D/3 Novatech but this is not a must.

The Job:

-You are responsible for writing functional and technical design specifications

-You are responsible for programming and configuring DCS systems

-You are responsible for testing and commissioning DCS systems

-You are responsible for troubleshooting DCS systems

About you:

-You have a Bachelor degree in a relevant technical engineering discipline such as Industrial Automation Engineering

-You have at least 5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer / Control System Engineer

-You have DCS experience preferably with Emerson DeltaV or D/3 Novatech (this is not a must)

-You have experience within the process industry (Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical or similar)

-You speak and write fluently in English
