Business Development Associate

Build the investor pipeline and ecosystem partnerships behind a market-neutral digital asset hedge fund in Amsterdam.

M1 Capital is a digital asset hedge fund based in Amsterdam. We focus on market-neutral strategies across DeFi and CeFi, combining systematic research, active trading, and risk-managed execution to generate uncorrelated returns across market environments.

The firm manages roughly $180 million across its core funds M1-A1 and M1-B1, plus tokenized fund vehicles.

What you'll do

Support business development and investor relations activities

Research and identify potential investors, strategic partners and distribution channels, including centralised exchanges, platforms, protocols, and other market participants

Develop ecosystem partnerships for commercial and distribution opportunities

Build and maintain investor target lists, CRM records, and pipeline overviews

Prepare materials for meetings, including pitch decks, factsheets, DDQs, follow-up documents, and data room content

Support conference preparation, capital introductions, and investor events

Improve commercial processes, reporting, and investor communication

Preferred skills

2 to 5 years in business development at digital asset companies

Strong interest in hedge funds and alternative investments

Professional communication skills with investors Relationship-building capabilities in commercial settings

Adaptability to fast-paced entrepreneurial environments

Fluent written and verbal English; Dutch or another European language is advantageous

CRM and pitch materials experience is advantageous

Crypto and DeFi knowledge is advantageous
