Operations Coordinator

For one of our clients within the offshore & maritime industry, I’m currently looking for a (Junior) Operations Coordinator to strengthen their Operations & QHSE team.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a maritime/offshore background who enjoys being at the centre of the operation and making sure everything runs smoothly.

As an Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of several offshore vessels. You’ll be involved throughout the entire operational cycl; from planning and mobilisation to execution and demobilisation.

You’ll work closely with different internal departments, including Chartering, Technical, QHSE, Crewing and Finance, while also maintaining contact with clients, suppliers, partners and vessel crew. In other words, you’ll be the spider in the web, making sure everyone is aligned and the operation stays on track.

The role will also involve:

Coordinating offshore projects and charter execution

Managing vessel schedules and operational planning

Supporting mobilisation and demobilisation activities

Maintaining strong relationships with clients and external partners

Supporting QHSE preparations, audits and documentation

Identifying operational challenges and helping to find solutions

Contributing to the further professionalisation of operational processes

Visiting vessels and project locations when required

What are we looking for?

Ideally, you have 2–3 years of experience within maritime or offshore operations and a maritime education or relevant work experience. Most importantly, you are proactive, organised and comfortable taking ownership in a dynamic environment.

You should enjoy working with different stakeholders, have strong communication skills and be someone who naturally thinks a few steps ahead. Good English is essential, while Dutch is a strong advantage.
