About the job

We’re looking for a

Full Stack Developer

to lead the development of both backend systems and user-facing applications that power our SmartBin and SmartDispenser products. You’ll help evolve our architecture, design robust APIs, and deliver intuitive interfaces—supporting real-time machine data, customer engagement tools, and operational dashboards.

This is a key role in a high-impact, cross-functional product team working on embedded systems, smart incentives, and circular packaging infrastructure.

Your day-to-day

Lead architecture planning and technical roadmapping.

Design and implement backend services for hardware integration, incentive systems, and partner APIs.

Develop and manage secure APIs, state machines, and job queues for real-world hardware interactions.

Collaborate across hardware, product and design teams to ship production-ready systems.

Current tech stack

Backend: Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, BullMQ

Frontend: React, TypeScript, Netlify

Infra: GitLab CI, CircleCI, Linux servers (hardening/migration planned)

Other: InfluxDB, Grafana, MQTT for real-time communication
