Senior C++ Engineer — Trading Systems

We're hiring a Senior C++ Engineer for a leading Amsterdam-based HFT firm. A global market maker known for ultra-low latency systems, proprietary technology, and best-in-class infrastructure.

This is a role where nanoseconds matter and your code has a direct, measurable impact on trading performance. You'll work alongside traders, quants, and researchers in a deeply technical environment with real ownership and short feedback loops.

What you'll do

Build and optimize performance-critical trading infrastructure

Work across modern C++ (17/20), Linux internals, and networking

Own systems end-to-end: design, build, measure, optimize

Collaborate directly with the desks your code serves

What you'll bring

Strong production experience with modern C++ (17+)

Deep systems programming and networking fundamentals

Track record optimizing for low latency and performance

Solid Linux and multithreaded programming background

Nice to have

HFT, market-making, or ultra-low-latency production experience

Python, FPGA, or hardware acceleration exposure

Competitive programming or CTF background
