Android Developer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to support the delivery of digital wallet and payment solutions within a leading mobile banking application.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and enhance Android application features supporting digital wallet integrations.

Implement payment and card-related user journeys, including card provisioning, tokenization status handling, and wallet-related user interfaces.

Work within Agile delivery teams, participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups.

Collaborate with backend engineers, product owners, security, and compliance stakeholders to deliver secure and compliant solutions.

Develop and maintain automated UI tests and support end-to-end testing activities.

Support issue resolution during integration, testing, and production launch phases.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and ensure high-quality delivery standards.

Strong Android development experience using Kotlin and/or Java.

Solid understanding of Android SDK and Android application architecture.

Experience with Android UI development, including XML layouts and Jetpack components.

Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services.

Knowledge of mobile payments, digital wallets, or card-based payment solutions.

Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Espresso.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile application delivery.

Experience working within Agile delivery environments.

Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
