Corporate Finance Analyst INTERN
Duration: 3 - 4 Months
Location: Fulltime The Hague office
Yinson Production is focuses on providing integrated services for the oil and gas industry. This includes designing and constructing vessels (FPSO’s), then leasing them while also providing operations and maintenance services.
As part of our commitment to nurturing emerging talent, we are offering an exciting internship opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in corporate finance.
The Role
As an intern supporting the Corporate Finance team, you will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to various aspects of financial analysis, investment evaluation, and transaction execution.
This internship provides an excellent platform to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world setting, enhancing your skills and understanding of corporate finance practices.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate investment opportunities, reviewing charter contracts, and analyzing commercial agreements.
Assist in conducting due diligence, collecting, and analyzing financial data and other relevant information.
Develop financial models to support investment decision-making and valuation exercises.
Support the structuring and execution of project and corporate financings, including the negotiation and documentation of financing agreements.
Prepare internal and external reports, presentations, and other communications related to ongoing projects.
Monitor financing arrangements, cash flows, financial risks, and valuation throughout the asset and financing lifecycle.
Provide assistance in day-to-day operations, data management, and stakeholder management within the Corporate Finance team.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., accounting, finance, economics, business administration).
Strong analytical skills with a basic understanding of accounting, legal, tax, and finance principles.
Proficiency in financial modeling using Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to solve complex problems with a systematic approach and attention to detail.
Self-motivated, ambitious, and proactive individual with a strong work ethic.
A team player capable of working in a fast-paced, international environment.
Pursuing or completed a degree in accounting, business administration, economics, finance, or related field from a recognized university. Additional qualifications such as a postgraduate degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA) are advantageous.
