Automation Engineer position in the Netherlands for a refrigeration and heat pump manufacturer. BEng/BTech in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering required. Working experience in PLCs, Automation, P&ID diagrams, Schematics, and Electrical Engineering principles is essential. Responsible for ensuring the best automation processes for refrigeration plants and solutions for the food industry.

Duties & Responsibilities

The Automation Engineer will be part of a team that ensures projects and associated automation processes, technology, and machinery are supplied at a world-class level.

Minimum requirements:

BSc/BEng/BTech (Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering).

Skills in automation frameworks (Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC, Rockwell, Visual Basic, .NET).

Solid understanding of P&ID diagrams and electrical schematics.

Willingness to specialize in industrial refrigeration and heat pumps.

Knowledge of version control programs.

Responsibilities:

Project planning, budgets, and project engineering functions.

Standardization.

Ensure that the entire automation part of the industrial refrigeration plant and/or heat pumps is functioning effectively.

Work within the Project Management Group.

Manage, develop, and innovate software tools.

Determine control algorithms needed for plants and parts.

Support a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).

Provide technical support to other offices.
