What you will be working on
As a Financial Controller your primary focus will be on managing and optimizing our financial processes. You will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing strategic financial guidance. Your responsibilities will span financial management, analysis, compliance, risk management, team leadership, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting;
Implement and maintain financial controls and procedures;
Conduct thorough financial analysis to support strategic decision-making;
Provide insights into key financial metrics, trends, and variances;
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements;
Identify and mitigate financial risks;
Lead and mentor the finance team;
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to streamline financial processes;
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies;
Contribute to the development of long-term financial plans; Who you are
Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred;
Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in a startup/scaleup environment and or background in Accountancy and Audit;
Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail;
Demonstrated leadership and team management experience;
Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders;
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills;
You are empathic, patient, and able to adapt to various situations;
You communicate clearly, use positive language, and have a can-do, problem-solving attitude;
