Senior Full-Stack Engineer

// About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our core engineering team in Amsterdam. You will design, build, and ship production-grade platforms for enterprise clients, from database schema and API design to polished, high-performance UIs.

At Sanera, engineers own features end-to-end. You will work directly with clients, shape technical architecture, and mentor junior developers. We move fast, ship often, and care deeply about craft.

// Responsibilities

Design and implement full-stack features across React/Next.js frontends and Node.js/Python backends.

Architect scalable systems: data models, APIs, real-time pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.

Collaborate with design and product to translate requirements into clean, maintainable code.

Write tests, set up CI/CD pipelines, and maintain production reliability.

Participate in code reviews and help raise the engineering bar across the team.

Communicate directly with clients to understand their systems and deliver solutions.

// Requirements

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.

Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js . Experience with Next.js is a plus.

Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL), REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud services (AWS or GCP).

Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD workflows.

Ability to work autonomously, manage your own priorities, and communicate clearly in English.

Experience building CRM integrations or enterprise SaaS platforms.

Familiarity with AI/ML tooling: embeddings, vector databases, LLM APIs.

Background in performance optimization, caching, or real-time systems.

Open-source contributions or a portfolio of shipped side projects.
