Please ensure this is factored into the interview/screening stage.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Python / React Developer to design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications utilizing Python and LLM frameworks for a premier financial services client in Malvern, PA. In this role, you will build reusable backend services, APIs, and cloud-hosted components to seamlessly integrate and scale enterprise AI capabilities. This position sits within an Agile/Scrum environment, supporting iterative experimentation, prompt tuning, and high-performance system delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesAI Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications using Python and LLM frameworks.Backend & API Engineering: Develop reusable backend services, microservices, and components; integrate services with RESTful APIs, external data sources, and enterprise systems.Cloud & Infrastructure: Deploy scalable, reliable applications to AWS environments while optimizing systems for performance, latency, cost, and accuracy.Frontend Integration: Build responsive, user-friendly UI components using modern frontend tech to surface complex AI capabilities.Code Quality & Collaboration: Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following strict engineering best practices; actively participate in code reviews and Agile/Scrum sprint cycles.Troubleshooting: Debug issues across prompt structures, APIs, machine learning model outputs, and supporting cloud infrastructure.QualificationsCore Python Expertise: Robust experience with Python API integration, REST microservices, and frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.Cloud Platforms: Hands-on exposure to AWS services, including Lambda, S3, ECS, IAM, and EventBridge.Application Optimization: Proven background in cross-application debugging and performance tuning.Preferred / Bonus Skillsets:Frontend/UI development using React, TypeScript, and Vite.Experience with LLM Frameworks & Tools (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain, LlamaIndex).Understanding of Prompt Engineering & Evaluation Techniques.Education: No degree required; equivalent professional software engineering experience is prioritized.
