We are looking for a
Senior Software Developer
to join an ICT Development team and contribute to the development and maintenance of software solutions, with a strong focus on Python, VBA and Microsoft SQL Server.
Key Responsibilities
Develop web solutions and automation scripts using
Python .
Develop and maintain
VBA solutions
in Excel and Access.
Work on
Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL
and ETL processes.
Contribute to the migration and modernisation of Access-based solutions.
Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using
Power BI .
Collaborate with technical teams on new features and production deployments.
Ensure secure coding practices and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in software development .
5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server , including T-SQL, SSIS, stored procedures and database design.
Strong experience with
Python
and related frameworks/tools.
Strong experience with
VBA (Excel & Access) .
Good knowledge of
Power BI , including data modelling, DAX and dashboards.
Good knowledge of
ETL / data preparation
technologies such as SSIS and Power Query.
Experience with
Git
and relational database development.
Knowledge of
Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps .
Good understanding of
application security , OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
Experience with
Docker .
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
