Junior Full Stack Developer (Java & React)

Location: Amsterdam, hybrid (2 days in office)

Duration: 6 Months B2B Contract

We are hiring

Junior Full Stack Developers

for a leading global tech company in Amsterdam.

You'll work across the stack on customer-facing applications, with a strong focus on backend development in Java and Spring Boot and React.js on the frontend.

What you'll do

Build backend services in Java and Spring Boot

Develop frontend features in React.js

Write clean, tested, reusable code and apply good design principles (SOLID, DRY)

Work with microservices, REST APIs and SQL/NoSQL databases

Learn how services are monitored, deployed and supported in production

Collaborate with developers, product owners and your engineering manager

What we're looking for

1-3

years of professional development experience

Solid Java and Spring Boot (backend skills are the main focus of the assessment)

Familiarity with microservices, SQL and NoSQL databases

Good communication and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn
