We are currently seeking an experienced
Freelance Mechanical Engineer
to join an exciting engineering project in the Netherlands. This is a hybrid opportunity offering a competitive day rate and the chance to work within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical systems and components.
Prepare and review technical drawings, calculations, and documentation.
Support testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations.
Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience in mechanical engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles.
Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Fluent English required; Dutch is advantageous.
