YOUR ROLE

As an Embedded Software Engineer at Capgemini Engineering, you will be part of our Software Engineering division, a dynamic team of 200 professionals. Working in a multidisciplinary SCRUM team, you will contribute to the entire embedded software development lifecycle for advanced machines, devices, and appliances for one of our clients in the high-tech.

In this role, you will play a key role in:

Designing and implementing embedded software in C++, C, and Python.

Developing and maintaining large-scale codebases running on Linux or Windows.

Optimizing software performance and ensuring real-time responsiveness.

Conducting software testing, debugging, and validation to ensure reliability and stability.

YOUR PROFILE

At least 2 years of experience in embedded software development within the high-tech industry.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

Fluency in Dutch.

Proficiency in C, C++, and Python, with experience in large codebases, object-oriented development, and SCRUM teams.

Knowledge of Test-Driven Development, Design Patterns, CI/CD, Linux, and Real-Time Operating Systems.

Bonus: Experience with Linux drivers, Qt, OpenGL, CUDA.
