Within the division Heating and Refrigaration we are seeking a Hardware Engineer.Heating & Refrigeration Solutions (HRS) is one of GEA's five divisions and specializes in industrial heating and refrigeration solutions for climate-friendly production processes in the food and beverage industry and other key sectors. The portfolio includes turnkey installations, compressors & compressor packages, heat pumps, chillers and controls. GEA plays an important role in decarbonizing manufacturing processes, cities and other market activities. More than 2,000 employees help ensure precise temperatures for our customers' business operations and lower their CO2 emissions and energy costs.You will be working in s-Hertogenbosch where our head office in The Netherlands is located.
Your responsibilities and tasks: As a Hardware Engineer you play an essential role in the planning of operations and processes in GEA plant construction projects. You help to ensure a smooth flow of the production chain and to optimize the quality and efficiency of the processes.
You work together in a project team consisting of the project manager, refrigeration design engineer, refrigeration CAD engineer, automation engineer, commissioning engineer and site supervisor.
Develop and design electrical solutions of installations for the global market according to western international standards.
You are responsible for the electrical design of the project and support electrical works (panels, cabling etc.) on site.
Responsible for the BOM and specifications for the electrical cabinets and cabling.
Take care and/ support the Factory Acceptance Test (SAT) of the electrical cabinets in accordance with the automation engineer and commissioning engineer.
Contributes in the field of development, standardization and innovations.
Your profile and qualifications: Technical education in electrical engineering or mechatronics.
Knowledge EPLAN, industrial automation and able to read P&ID diagrams.
Knowledge of requirements of notified bodies and directives.
English language and Dutch language, written and verbal.
Able to consult with suppliers and (internal) clients, e.g., clients who require technical consultation or solutions.
