What you'll do

As a Backend Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping our backend systems and enabling seamless features that make complex processes effortless. Here's what you’ll be doing:

Design and build scalable backend solutions that keep our platform running smoothly

Improve and optimize core features like authorization and routing

Contribute to architectural decisions that shape our platform's future

Review code and mentor other developers

Keep our systems robust while we scale to serve even more users

Think along about new features and improvements based on user feedback

Technical Stack

Backend:

PHP (Symfony), Docker

Mobile:

Ionic and Capacitor with Cordova

Version control:

GitLab monorepo with CI/CD

Cloud:

Kubernetes, Scaleway as our provider

What you need

You know what it takes to build a solid product

You can inspire peers, as well as other technical and non‑tech stakeholders

You know your way around PHP (Symfony), Docker, Kubernetes, and Gitlab

Ownership and initiative come naturally to you – you’re on it, always

You set systems up from scratch and embrace a ‘build it, run it, love it’ mindset

You are a passionate and pragmatic problem‑solver: no puzzle is too complex!
