Contract Duration: 12 Months (Initially via Agency, transitioning to Direct Employment)

Our client is a unique company where innovative processes that contribute to a sustainable world find their way to the market. Projects to reduce CO2 footprint or convert residual materials into valuable products. They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced E&I Engineer to join their team in Botlek, Rotterdam. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing engineering expertise in the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) discipline, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of their facilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of their projects and collaborate with a talented team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical expertise in the design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of E&I equipment and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize the performance and reliability of E&I assets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project planning, execution, and commissioning activities.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the E&I discipline.
Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting complex issues related to electrical and instrumentation systems.
Prepare and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports.
Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience working as an E&I Engineer in an industrial setting, preferably within the petrochemical sector.
Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation principles, practices, and standards.
Proficiency in using relevant software tools for design, analysis, and documentation.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Fluent in Dutch, both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
