Analytics Engineer

DDBM is a Data & AI consulting firm that helps organisations transform raw data into decision-ready data and decision-ready operations. We are official partners of Snowflake, Anthropic, dbt, and Tableau. For our growing team, we are looking for an Analytics Engineer who can transform data into reliable, decision-ready data and use AI as a daily tool.

What will you be doing?

Build and maintain scalable data models and pipelines in dbt and Snowflake based on the Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold)

Defining the semantic layer: capturing KPIs, metrics, and business logic in code

Delivering clean Gold-layer datasets as a data source for Tableau, Sigma Computing, Power BI , and others

Writing (complex) SQL and Python for data extraction, transformation, and quality assurance

Actively using AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) to work faster and more effectively

Collaborate with business analysts and clients to translate data needs into technical solutions

Building domain knowledge with clients so that your data models always align with business practices

What’s on your resume?

At least 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or similar role

Hands-on experience with dbt and Snowflake in production environments

Strong proficiency in SQL and Python

Knowledge of data modelling and the Medallion architecture

Familiar with Git, CI/CD, and agile development

Analytical, quality-oriented, and proactive

Strong communication skills in Dutch and English

Salary: €45,000 – €70,000 gross per year, depending on experience
