About the role First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

We are looking for an experienced Mixed Metho d Sr. UX R esearcher with undeniable passion to drive innovation in the Guest Experience field and can inspire design decisions to take Hospitality solutions to the next level.

You’ll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you: Specialist in Thick Data : With strong expertise in qualitative research in the UX research team, you can help us build international research at Mews. Become an ambassador for UX deep insights and supporter of qualitative projects.

Collaborative mate : Alongside with UXR team collaborate closely with other teams and stakeholders to empower their work and help them reach company goals.

Contextual master: Ability to see the stories in the data and articulate them. The key is to work with multiple sources of data. Don't be scared of any of them :)

Innovator and Strategist: Passion and hunger for learning new things are essential as well as implementing them and sharing experiences. Love experimenting with methodology approaches and with tools to do it. Being able to zoom-in and zoom-out accordingly in every stage of the design research process.

Extra points for a hospitality knowledge. We all travel, you can expect discussions and tips for your future trips

We are looking for: Comprehensive experience as a mixed method researcher

Education: anthropology, psychology, sociology, philosophy... with focus on strategic design research, innovation, data analysis and visualisation

You have demonstratable experience with Design Thinking and Innovation frameworks (JTBD) throughout your roles

You have expertise in applying research for product design and optimisation, service design, business design and innovation projects

Well versed in Ethnographic in-depth research and other qualitative methods, trend analysis, benchmarking, competitive analysis

Experience with online surveys, web data measuring and their combination

Experience with online research tools (Gainsight, Useberry, Userinterviews, Dovetail)

Strong Team player

Advocate for the research discipline within the organisation

Strategic Thinking is a must
