Job Description Next to contract lifecycle management as a Key Accountmanager for the North of the Netherlands which will be around 40% of the time spent by this job, this manager will also be responsible of leading all tender processes and otherwise has mainly work in the strategic area around pricing the MS portfolio of Biogen. This manager makes a pricing strategy and takes into account the risks and impact of a tender. In doing so, he or she naturally always considers the wishes and needs of the client.
The tender manager also maintains contacts with the clients and other parties involved and represents the tender team and the organization. Throughout the tender process, the manager monitors progress in close cooperation with the tenderteam and reports regularly to the commercial lead.
He or she prepares the tender documents himself or herself and submits them to the client in a timely manner. The most important document of the tender is a plan of action and when applicable a service level agreement, which describes how the company intends to fulfill the contract. The necessary legal, financial and contractual documents should not be missing either. If the tender is actually won, the tender manager will lead the contract discussions and hand over the contract to all involved team members, and if this has taken place in his or her own area, the contract lifecycle management will also be carried out by this manager in order to be directly connected to developments and impact of our strategy.
Tasks of a tender manager
Identifying the client's requirements and translating them into a tender strategy;
putting together and supervising a tender team;
directing the tender process and monitoring progress;
drawing up a price strategy, minimizing the risks and maximizing the impact;
liaising with the client and other internal and external departments and parties;
preparing and submitting bid documents;
upon successful completion lead contract discussions and transfer tender file to execution team, where part of the contractees are in the scope of this manager his- or herself and therefor is his- or herself part of this execution team.

Connecting the dots : cross functionally connecting contracting and subsequently sales impact analysis and insights to omni-channel excellence with brand team members.
Cross functionally lead to excellent monthly tactical forecasting incl. peer coaching
Lead yearly tender- & contracting planning incl. peer coaching
Tender effectiveness analysis and reporting to CL
Contractmanagement, incl. embed processes and appropriate governance model
Tendermanagement, take the lead in tendercycle and lead tenderteams to ensure Biogen's success.
MS portfolio pricing strategy: built, adapt, execute and coach peers on enrolled strategies.
Qualifications Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
Professional certification (as mandated by geography)
Bachelor’s, Master degree preferred, preferably in business, sciences or Health Economics
Local territory language knowledge a must; proficiency in English desirable
5-8 years of pharmaceutical/health care related sales experience, preferably in specialty sales
Proven and sustained track record of reaching and exceeding sales goals
Preferably experience in field of Neurology
Experienced in value based solutions design and execution
Preferably has a deep understanding of tender and pricing management and proven project management skills.
Consistently meet behavioral and reporting requirements
