Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced

Python Developer

to join the BB8 team within the Development Tooling department. You will design and build a new

Python-based front-end solution for the Box.com SaaS platform , enabling internal users to manage content more securely, intuitively, and efficiently.

This role sits within a DevOps environment that manages key collaboration and portfolio management tools such as

Confluence, Jira Align, and AURA . You will help transform complex backend capabilities into user-friendly interfaces and contribute to continuous improvement across multiple enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop a

Python-based front-end

for Box.com integrations.

Improve usability, accessibility, and user experience across internal tooling.

Ensure all solutions meet security, compliance, and governance standards.

Support users, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous platform improvements.

Collaborate within a DevOps team managing Confluence, Jira Align, AURA, and Box.com.

Contribute to additional applications managed by the BB8 team once the Box.com front-end is delivered.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience as a

Python Developer .

Experience or interest in

frontend development using Python frameworks

(pre).

Experience with

APIs

and

SaaS integrations .

Affinity with developer tooling or enterprise platforms.

Understanding of

security

and

compliance

requirements.

Proactive, collaborative, and user-focused mindset.

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a DevOps environment.

English proficiency (no Dutch required).
