Full Stack Developer - Shopify Experience

Overview

Salt is hiring a skilled Full-Stack Developer with strong Shopify experience and frontend technologies. You will build Shopify apps, backend services, and integrations for leading e-commerce businesses.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain architectural standards for custom Shopify apps and backend microservices.

Mentor a team of developers and conduct code reviews.

Ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability across projects.

Oversee design and execution of complex integrations with third-party systems (ERPs, WMS, POS).

Drive the adoption of best practices in CI/CD, testing, and documentation.

Collaborate with product, design, and stakeholders to align engineering priorities with business goals.

Foster learning and support career growth in the team.

Qualifications

8+ years in full-stack development, with 2+ years in leadership or mentorship roles.

Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Redis, and both GraphQL and REST APIs.

Strong ERP domain knowledge and experience integrating third-party platforms (ERP, WMS, POS).

Proficient in Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.

Strong understanding of batch-processing patterns and handling concurrent tasks in distributed environments.

Proven track record of end-to-end ownership from design through deployment and post-launch monitoring.

Front-end experience with React, Remix, Tailwind/CSS, and Polaris.

Excellent communication and system design skills with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
