Infrastructure Engineer

Master of Science (MSc) degree from a nationally recognized/certified university in a related subject with at least 5 years of post-related experience OR Bachelor of Science ( BSc ) degree from a nationally recognized / certified university in a related subject with at least 7 years of post- related experience ;

Practical experience with SAN/NAS network fundamentals (TCP/IP, FC, FCoE , iSCSI, WWN, WWNP, LIFs) and SAN, unified, and NAS storage systems ;

Practical experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, and Linux (Red Hat) .

Training and industry certification on virtualization e.g. VCP ;

CompTIA ServerPlus , CompTIA Network, or CCNA certification ;

DataCenter certification .

Duties/role

Supporting Senior Technicians, Engineers, and NISC IaaS SDMs in all activities related to the design, engineering, implementation, operation, and integration of Infrastructure Hosting Services ;

Monitoring and performing daily physical checks of data centre hardware and other equipment ;

Performing troubleshooting activities in the data centre, identifying issues, and assisting in their timely resolution while maintaining proper records of work operations and events .
