DevSecOps Toolchain Expert – Maastricht (NL)

DevSecOps Toolchain Expert

The role focuses on maintaining, configuring, and evolving a standardized DevSecOps platform used in

safety‑critical, high‑availability management environments .

The consultant will support development teams in adopting secure development practices and migrating to the standardized toolchain while ensuring platform stability, security, and operational excellence.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

Support, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines on

Jenkins

Operate and integrate tools including

SonarQube, Sonatype Lifecycle, and Nexus Repository

Maintain and adapt

Remedy–Jira integrations , including support for Remedy upgrades and Atlassian Cloud migration

Maintain MDT container images for

Java, C++, and Node.js

Implement and promote

secure development / shift-left security practices

Monitor platform components, identify risks, and resolve issues proactively

Coordinate with development and engineering teams, review priorities, and contribute to technical decision‑making

Mandatory Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in

Computer Science, Information Technology, ICT, or relevant engineering discipline

Professional Experience

Minimum

5 years

of experience in

software design and development

At least

1 year

of hands‑on programming experience in

Java or C++

At least

1 year

of programming experience in

Python

Experience with

CI/CD pipelines

(Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus Repository)

Language

English proficiency covering

Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking

Minimum levels:

C1 / B2 / B2 / C1

(verifiable via CV and/or assessment)

Experience with

containers and containerized environments

Experience with

Agile methodologies

Experience with

Atlassian tools

(Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Experience with

test automation frameworks

(e.g. ROBOT Framework)

Experience with

AsciiDoc

and documentation-as-code

Experience working in

multicultural and multinational environments
