Overview

Azure & Microsoft specialist placing contractors across the UK and Europe

Hamilton Barnes are currently representing a market-leading consultancy who is on the search for a DevOps/IAC Engineer. Available on 80-100k (Annually).

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage automated infrastructure solutions for on-premise and cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) environments using IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and others.

Develop and maintain reusable IaC templates that ensure scalability, security, and compliance across diverse client projects.

Able to work with any company that needs an infra-as-code engineer to design, stabilize, optimize & automate their On prem or Hybrid (AWS, AZURE or Google) landing zones.

You know what it takes to transform existing infra setup towards infra-as-code for on-premise and or AWS, Azure or GCP environments

Technical Skills

Proficient in designing and deploying infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Google Cloud Deployment Manager (CDM), or Pulumi.

Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack to automate infrastructure provisioning and maintenance.

Strong hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (K8s) or OpenShift.
