Front-end Developer

Are you a Front-end Developer who is passionate about combining user experience, technology, and innovation? About the job

You will work at the intersection of front-end development, UX/UI design, and industrial automation. By combining process information, functional requirements, and user needs, you will create user-friendly solutions that enable operators and customers to work efficiently and effectively.

Within a modern DevOps environment, you will be involved throughout the entire software lifecycle, from design and development to implementation, monitoring, and maintenance. Depending on your experience, you may join as a junior, medior, or senior Front-end Developer, with opportunities to further develop your expertise in architecture, design systems, or technical leadership.

Your key responsibilities:

Translate user requirements and customer needs into intuitive user flows, prototypes, and interfaces.

Develop reusable front-end components for HMIs, customer portals, and web applications.

Integrate front-end solutions with APIs, machine control systems, and backend services.

Ensure quality, usability, security, and maintainability of software solutions.

Contribute to Git, CI/CD, and release processes, including deployment and monitoring.

Collaborate with engineers, users, and customers to continuously improve digital solutions.

For senior professionals: provide direction for front-end architecture and mentor colleagues.

Actively contributing ideas to improve procurement processes, focusing on quality optimization, delivery reliability, and cost reduction.

What you can expect:

A monthly salary between €4.000 and €6.000 (based on a 40-hour workweek), with opportunities for further growth through specialization or career development.

The option to “sell” unused ADV days each year.

A fixed monthly commuting allowance of €0.25 per kilometer.

What you bring

You combine a strong understanding of user experience and visual design with a solid technical foundation. You are comfortable working independently while actively collaborating with colleagues, users, and customers. You can clearly explain technical and functional decisions and are committed to delivering high-quality solutions.

Key qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree level (HBO) or equivalent, preferably in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Interaction Design.

Experience with UX/UI design, prototyping, and modern front-end technologies, including Figma, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.

Experience with responsive web development, REST APIs, Git, and CI/CD; affinity with industrial HMIs and knowledge of FactoryTalk Optix, Azure, SharePoint, or AI integrations is a plus.

Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written.

Providing a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) may be part of the application process.
