Test Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced

Test Automation Engineer

for a client in the Netherlands. In this role, you will help ensure the

quality, stability and reliability of business-critical applications

by developing, maintaining and improving automated test solutions.

You will work closely with developers, DevOps engineers and other stakeholders, combining

Robot Framework, Python, REST API testing, Playwright, Docker and Azure DevOps

to increase test coverage, investigate failures and enable faster and more reliable releases.

Your Job

Develop and maintain automated

API and front-end tests

Maintain

Robot Framework

test suites, resources and Python keyword libraries

Monitor automated test runs and pipelines in

Azure DevOps

Investigate failures, analyze logs and identify root causes

Test

REST APIs , JSON payloads and authentication flows

Maintain

Dockerized test execution

for API and front-end testing

Improve test reporting, logging and overall test reliability

Contribute to

CI/CD pipelines

and automation improvements

Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers and other teams in an

Agile environment

Your Profile

7+ years of IT experience , including 5+ years in test automation

Strong experience with

Robot Framework

Good knowledge of

Python

Strong experience with

REST API testing and JSON

Experience with

Azure DevOps, Git and CI/CD

Hands-on experience with

Docker

Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills

Experience analyzing automated test logs and reports

Proactive, quality‑focused and comfortable working across teams
