About DENS

DENS develops and delivers advanced mobile energy and battery solutions for demanding sectors — from construction and ports to critical infrastructure and inland shipping. We are a fast-growing company of around 170 people, founded as a TU/e spin-off and based in Helmond, the Netherlands. We design, engineer and build everything in house.

The hub of the process

Between a 3D model and a finished system lies a world of bills of materials, drawings, parts and planning. You are the one who keeps that world in order: making sure what engineering designs lands correctly in our ERP system, that the shop floor works with the right drawings, and that procurement knows in time what is needed.

When your preparation is solid, production can simply build.

What will you do?

Connecting 3D models to our system

— You turn designs into complete and reliable bills of materials and item data, so that what is in ERP matches what is actually built.

Reviewing production drawings

— You check drawings for completeness, manufacturability and the correct revision, and flag what is wrong before it reaches the shop floor.

Connecting the teams

— Engineering, production, procurement and service: you keep the lines short and make sure everyone works from the same information.

Preparing work packages

— You put together assembly instructions, parts lists and documentation the shop floor can start with straight away.

Thinking along on planning and availability

— You spot early which parts or drawings put the planning at risk, and raise the alarm in time.

Improving the process

— You are the first to notice where information gets stuck, and you tackle those bottlenecks: less noise, better records, smoother flow.

Who are you?

Vocational or bachelor level in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar

Accurate and structured — you keep an overview where others lose it

Proactive: you do not wait for a problem to announce itself

Strong communicator: you connect easily with colleagues from other teams

Fluent in both Dutch and English — good spoken command of both languages is a requirement
